Potty trained 3 year old

My 3 year old has been very well potty trained for almost 2 years now. BUT for the last few months he refuses to get up if he has to pee at night and use the bathroom. He will just lay in bed and pee himself, while wide awake. (I’ve seen him do it on the baby monitor)

Today I got him out of bed and he told me he didn’t have to pee. Ok fine, here it is 1:30 pm and I noticed he was wet because he peed himself instead of just going to the bathroom. Somebody tell me how to stop this because if I have to wash one more sheet or clean up one more pile of pee I’m gonna lose it 😑
