Question

Ok ladies- tell me true. Who has had a BM during labor? I’m expecting it, not worried about it, but have heard a few stories and want to know your experiences. 
I hear they “don’t tell you” if you do- I feel like I’d know anyway! Also, if they don’t tell you, won’t you know when they clean you up? 
Who can share a story. There are no secrets here anymore 😆

Couldn't feel it happen. They just wipe you and move on. I honestly didn't care, was in too much pain to worry about being embarrassed

I actually didn’t poop (I know because there was a mirror) but I did however throw up. So you could do that too😂

I pooped. Probably pooped the entire time I pushed lol. Had the worst hemorrhoid after too! Like a donut shape on my asshole.

I honestly have no idea. I couldn’t feel it and no one told me, so I wouldn’t know.

I ended up needing a c section...but I'll tell ya. The last week before I was induced...it wasnt diarrhea, but my BM increased in frequency and were softer. It's like my body knew I'd be pushing out a baby and didn't want to deal with poop too.

They didn’t tell me, but I actually could feel it even with the epidural. And I’ve known others who have as well.

I totally pooped while pushing. I didn’t have an epidural so I felt it come out and I felt them wipe my butt. I was so embarrassed but the doc said it meant I was pushing the right way. I just pretended it didn’t happen and moved on.

I did with both labour’s, I only know because both fathers of my daughters felt the need to tell me. I didn’t know, and tbh at the time didn’t care, I was naked as a jay bird and preoccupied lol

Honestly, I think I was so scared of this with my first that it delayed things.  Thinking of getting an enema this time so I know when it is going to happen rather than pooping on the bed!

Had my first naturally, they didn’t tell me I pooped and I didn’t know until I heard my husband telling his brother about it! He said they cleaned it up fast and moved on, it’s not a big deal to them. I have a few friends who have worked in L&D and they say 9 out of 10 do
