So tonight at work another employee who I don’t even know what his last name is has made two very unpleasant comments regarding my pregnancy to my face. Last week when he overheard another person ask about my pregnancy he interrupted our conversation to say “ oh so you’re a like a human submarine!” I told him that was rude but he wouldn’t quit telling me how I was like a submarine and why. Then tonight he just walked over to me and interrupted a conversation I was having with 2 other people ( which in no way was about my pregnancy or pregnancy in general) and looked me straight in the eye. Then he proceeds to tell me “A woman having a baby is absolutely the most selfish thing in the world.” And goes on to explain how I’m contributing to the overpopulation over the world and global starvation. It’s my first pregnancy! Not like my 15th! It’s just completely blindsided me and made me feel like I was a horrible person for wanting a family. I’m not sure what to do. Do I just let it go or do I report him? It feels like he was singling me out for his abuse.
