Daycare rant

Hey ladies,

Just wanted to leave this rant here and want to hear what you think. I was telling my best friend (who doesn’t have kids yet) that we are actively looking for daycare for our little one to arrive in June. And then she acts so surprised that I would give my precious baby to some strangers that early (after my maternity leave at 3 month) and tells me to either quit my job ( where I have insurance that covers our family and the future addition) and do part time jobs or give my baby to grandparents (who both work). I mean I would not mind this help from my MIL since she owns her own business and has sort of flexible hours but we can’t insist on this. Her business right now is not doing so great and she has to work alone without backup people. My mom would not be able to do that since she lives 1.20 hours away and has my grandma to look for. So I got so frustrated and feel like I’m a bad mom for giving our 3 months old to childcare. I wish I would not have to do it but we really have no choice here. What do you ladies think? Am I overreacting?
