Please help
Soooo stick with me!! I have uterine problems, not completely sure what’s going on. Been on the pill for 3 ish years and have regular periods, but along with those I get bad cramping and headaches (completely normal, not my complaint). Last year I started getting stabbing like feelings where I would typically get my cramps, and it would happen at the most random times. I tried change of diet, exercise, all that good stuff and nothing helped.
Ive noticed when I don’t remember to take my pill on time or forget to take one the stabbing pain occurs more often. It really affects my body.
I ended up going to the ER one night bc of the pain, I got a transvaginal ultrasound, the doctor found a very small benign tumor that, according to my gyno, would not cause the stabbing pains or cause problems so they left it there. They did multiple pelvic exams and ran std tests and said i just need to eat healthy and take pain pills when it happens because they don’t see anything that would cause the pain. It’s been months since I’ve seen my gyno because I’m very frustrated that they did nothing to help me. I continue to have the pain and I want to do something about it because it’s really getting in the way of my life.
It feels like thorns or stabbing and it’s mostly on my right side uterine area but sometimes when it’s really bad I feel it on both. It hurts to stand straight up when it’s happening and it will come and go. Some days it hurts and others it’s fine. I can’t stand straight up when it’s happening, it feels better to crouch over. And sometimes i get pain during sex. I almost feel like it’s beginning stages of endometriosis but I’d like to get others opinions if this has happened to you.
If anyone has suggestions as to what may be going on with me please let me know and I’m also looking for opinions on the implant because I want to switch birth control. I can’t keep forgetting my pill and making the pain worse
