Sooooo I ended up having an April baby.... My baby girl was born at 28 weeks + 5 days. Doctors have a couple ideas as to why she might have come early, but there is no true diagnosis for this kinda thing. She is currently in the NICU, but is doing great. Nurses say she is strong, feisty, and active! Here she is 🥰

Her name is Arielle Nova 💕

She was 2 lbs 12 oz and 16 inches long.

I started have contractions 4 days before delivery. At the time, I didn’t know they were contractions because I’m a first time mom and did not think about looking into that. By night time, I knew something was wrong because I was in very bad pain. Doctors said to come in and by the time I got there, the contractions were two minutes apart.

Doctors tried their best to slow contractions and prevent her from arriving early, while at the same time giving me meds that would make her stronger.

Eventually, she decided to make her grand entrance into the world. It’s been a scary ride and I never expected anything like this to happen. I’m so happy that she is progressing well and in good hands here at the NICU.

I love her so much!! 😭💕
