Did losing weight/exercising regularly help you get pregnant?

DH and I have been TTC 2 1/2 years. We have even been using a specialist but they’ve never mentioned my weight, and all my labs have always come back great as well (even tested thyroid, insulin and blood sugar multiple times). They say we are part of the “unexplained infertility” group. They’ve been having me use Clomid and we are also preparing to do a couple cycles of <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a>. After that DH said we are going to take a break from all the dr appts and just wait and see what happens.

I’ve recently started exercising more to help with my level of stress/frustration and I’ve started wondering if maybe my weight really is making a difference? I am 5’2” and 170lbs. So far I’ve done the elliptical every day for 2 weeks, and I’m using more as a strength training. I do it for 30-45 mins on varying inclines but high resistance. I really like how it makes me feel and is a great stress reliever so I am planning to continue using it regularly and also start at home strength training exercises.

Did anyone else make a similar life style change or lose weight and then finally get pregnant?
