should i get a test!?

i havent had sex since mid february, i was on birth control and i didnt allow him to cum in me. i have had no signs of pregnancy but im 5 days near my period and i bled pinkish red but more red. its not spotting because every time i wipe it shows up. im just concerned because i got off birth control a few weeks ago and dont know if my body is just adjusting or what. i havent had any unprotected sex since ive been off. im just curious and wanna hear some comments. im not financially okay to deal with this so i wanna hear advice and then get a test if needed
