Vomited in my patients room!

So ready for this heightened sense of smell to chill out! I was helping a patient to the bathroom at work (I’m an RN) and she burped as I walked behind her. I got a face full of it! I immediately had to turn into my other patient’s room and barfed in the trash can by the door! That patient and her family all got a full view as I hurled my dinner up. It was so embarrassing! Luckily they were very understanding as they were all women and had had multiple pregnancies themselves. We had a good laugh and they wished me well but still! Before this pregnancy I never had a weak stomach but geez this is getting ridiculous! I’m 11 weeks so hopefully it’ll get better soon!
