I am 39 + 2. I started losing my mucus plug 3 days ago with lots of blood. Every day since, I've lost more and more plug. Yesterday it was more brown than bright red. Today it is yellow and clear. All day yesterday I had waves of back pain and then I had about an hour of bad contractions until I finally got to sleep. Today I am having strong period cramps but I dont feel tightening or anything. I also felt a small gush of fluid a few times yesterday. But I don't think my water broke. I would go in to l&d but I was just there Tuesday for decreased movement and I know they're just going to say everything is fine and send me home. Can anyone tell me their experiences with bloody show and what not and when they went into labor? Also could anyone tell me about contractions? I'm a ftm with a very high pain tolerance and I just want to know what to expect somewhat. I know everyone is different so mine won't be like yours. I would just like some insight.
