Pregnant with Factor 5 Leiden?

I've had 2 losses already. Drs are wondering about putting me on aspirin. Is anyone else in it because if losses , and did it help??

I have factor v and so does my sister, we were both prescribed lovenox daily as well as a baby aspirin.  Have you seen a specialist?  If not, I recommend a high risk clinic, usually called a maternal health and fetal medicine.  I will use them and I also have a hematologist.  From what I understand, there are differing opinions among hematologists but mine felt the risks of not medicating outweighed the risks of medicating.  I did IVF so I’ve been on it for months and months with no side effects.  Worth it in my opinion.

Frankly I’m shocked they are not medicating with factor v, especially after losses....  doesn’t sound right to me.

I have protein c and a deficiency so far so good with staying away from heparin or any interventions in my pregnancies. I went through a 3 year span of having miscarriages because of it but finally able to stay pregnant since that happened. I am noticing this time I’m short of breath and winded all the time. Legs are tingly and arms during these episodes. I am unsure if related but have an appt tomorrow and I am going to ask for my levels to be checked.

I have 5 Leiden and another gen mutation (I don’t remember de name right now). I am with heparin shots (twice a day) because my trombofilia (sorry I don’t know the word in English) is severe. One of my sisters took baby aspirin on pregnancy with good results.
I have had one lost (my first pregnancy), but my son born with a trombo in his brain and now he has hemiparesia (sorry again I don’t know the word in English) and lives in treatments. That’s why they give me studies and found out the mutations.
So, if you have the 5 Leiden factor and you have already had losses, I will go with the baby aspirin if your doctor said so.
