Tdap bad reaction?

I got the shot on Thursday, and the next day I felt extremely tired/achy. Today there is a red welp spot below the injection site (bruised spot). Is this normal or something I should call in about?

Unfortunately it is common, your doctor will tell you it’s totally normal, in my opinion it’s sad! Read the vaccine insert, it hasn’t been studied in pregnant women, they actually give a number for you to call to let them know how you and your unborn baby came through after the vaccine! I would suggest using this opportunity to look into the ingredients and side effects more closely! You may feel the risk is worth taking, but you may also decide it isn’t! Best of luck!

Perfectly normal reaction, things to watch for would be swelling of your mouth or throat or trouble breathing as that could mean a serious allergic reaction. Otherwise it’s expected for your body to react a bit (tired, achy, redness at the injection site, etc.) 👌🏼

Tdap is one of the worst shots I’ve ever gotten. I was tired and sore for a week last pregnancy. It’s worth it though
