Its finally my turn 🙌🏼 !

(Will try to do it briefly)

On Thursday April 11 i had my weekly appointment at 38 weeks 5 days! Doctor told me i was dilated at 3 cm 50% effaced , but my cervix was still a little high . She did a membrane sweep 😫 & off to home i went . Once i got home i started contracting every 5 min lasting around 40 seconds . So we decided to go to the hospital just to be on the safe side . Once at the hospital they did confirm i was contracting , but not progressing so they sent me home . Before sending me home they gave me a pill so i could sleep through the night , which worked wonders lol i dont remember the ride home or even getting in bed 😂

Friday April 12 . I woke up fine , not feeling any pain . Later that day i started contracting , nothing too strong so i just ignored it . We went out to eat that afternoon (husband , daughter , & I) once we had ordered our food , contractions started getting a little more stronger . Again i didn’t really think much of it so i just ignored it . I was in so much pain while eating we just left for the hospital instead .

Once in triage they checked my cervix & i was at 5 cm 😱! At this point i was in so much pain holding on to the bed ! Tears were just falling out I couldn’teven hold them in . I remember my daughter just looking at me all scared & saying “mommy breath . Everything’s gonna be ok .” 😭💖 it took about 30 min total to get me to my room , get IV in , vitals , & epidural done thank God ! That was around 7 pm .

The waiting game had just started . A few hours before babys arrival i started feeling all of my contractions on my left side . I thought i was going crazy lol & didn’t wanna make a deal of it so i just waited it out until I couldn’t bear it any more . (Yup I’m that type that always waits til I’m in so much pain to say something 🙄😂) . So nurse got that fixed . Like an hour later i started feeling pressure down there , like if i needed to poop 💩 . Nurse checked my cervix & i was fully dilated ! It was baby time 🙌🏼 !

April 13 , 2019 @ 2:03 am coming in at 8 lbs 8 oz & 22 in Josiah was born 💙

Pushed for like 20 min & out he went ! Despite being baby #2 my husband was terrified as hell 🙄 lol so he was behind my doctor the whole process 😒 lol at least my mom was by my side .
