FINALLY!
So i was due to be induced on my due date, because of slowed growth.
1am on the 18th i start having braxton hicks; 3 hours later, their worse and more often, ring the hospital and then wait for another hour before going to be checked. I was barely 1cm and was sent home again with painkillers and told to ring up for induction at 10. 10 comes and i get my time of 11:30, at this point i’m in tears. Contractions are every 2 mins for a minute. Get onto the ward and all monitored up and by 12 i was 3cm dilated.
By 1, little man was stressing himself out with the contractions and his heart rate would slow every time for a further few hours. Hours of this constant monitoring and lack of being about to move during contractions, made me very angry and tired.
Got moved to a delivery room at 2 was shouting and swearing until 6 and when finally got the epidural; by this point i was only 6cms....ffs...when i was told that the baby didn’t like the hormone drip they started me on with the Epi. C-section was looking likely.
8:30 comes around and i get checked to see if any progress what so ever; to everyone’s surprise i’m at 9.5 cm and baby wants out now! They wiz me around to theatre and use the forceps to get little man out at 9:12am!
My total labour was 6 hours but gosh does it feel like years once the pains start.

Wouldn’t change it for the world!
