Masters Degree or TTC?

Currently doing Bachelors degree and 18 months away from finishing 👩🏼‍🎓 not sure if I want to wait another 18 months after that (3 years altogether) to start TTC?
I’m 23 so heaps of time, hubby is 33 💕

I would definitely finish your degrees first because once you get pregnant and have a child you most likely will have to put it off indefinitely

It depends what masters degree you are trying to get. I could have done mine and been pregnant and probably even had a child. There were people in my program pregnant. My friend is doing her masters program and was pregnant and just had her baby. She’s almost done now. I would say it is probably going to be really hard to get a masters while you have a baby around. But at the same time if that’s your reality you can make anything work! Maybe start trying like the last year or year and a half of your program and then the timing could work out for you if you’re lucky!

Like you said, you have plenty of time. Get your degree so you can enjoy every minute of your baby without the pesky distractions of school! I’m SO glad I got my master’s before trying to have babies! (I’m not glad I waited until I’m 36, so maybe don’t wait THAT long. 😉)

I am just finishing up my BSN, all online, working full time as a RN and have a 7 month old. It’s tough I’m not going to lie. I wish I wouldn’t have waited to have her until I finished, it would have made life much easier and I’d have more time to spend with her. It’s doable but it’s a whole different thing having a baby and going to school. Hope that helps!
