Does hubby need to ejaculate for sex to help induce labor?

We got interrupted and he did not get to finish, could the sex still help?

The prostaglandins in semen are the key for softening the cervix but female orgasm will also help cause some uterine contractions ☺️

The sperm helps just last week when I was at exactly 39 weeks I went into the hospital thinking I was in labor but I wasn’t and I was only at 3cm , I left and that same night me and my SO had sex and had sex that following morning I also had my last prenatal appointment that day and when I went in my doctor told me I went from 3cm to 4.5cm so I think it helps alot

My doctor said it helps soften your cervix but I really don't think it does much else. I've been at 3cm for over a week now and I'm due today. My hubby and I have been having sex and it doesn't seem to help. I'm 75% effaced so maybe it's helped with that but that's about it. I will have contractions after and they will last for awhile and then fade out...

Mine did. Saturdsy early morning like 1am hubby and i had sex he couldnt finish. By 330 i was having hard contractions and still am now. Trying to get them closer together.
