Should I call my doctor ?

Should I call my doctor if I’m losing parts of my mucus plug at 35 weeks ? My next appt is in a week.

I’d wait, I’ve read that loosing the mucus plug doesn’t mean that we’re going to labor and I believe it. I’ve been loosing a bit every day since week 35 hit but nothing has happen.

Yes, my hospital told me to inform my midwife/doctor if it’s before 37 weeks as that’s very early. Better to check if I’m doubt :) x

When in doubt I say always call them. They know best!! While it doesn’t mean you’re in labor it is something I think they’d like to know about as it can lead to labor.  If anything you can just wait until they are in the office or call the nurses line when they’re open if you have one so you aren’t bothering anyone outside of hours.

I lost a big part of mine at 28 and then again 32. Nothing happened. Usually it will regenerate. But if you start to see blood or feel concerned definitely call your doctor!
