Doc can feel baby’s head - has he dropped?

I’m 38 + 2 days, and family/friends keep telling me that I haven’t dropped yet (and it doesn’t feel like I’ve dropped...I still feel like I can’t breathe). However, when my obgyn did my last cervical check two days ago, he told me that he could easily feel baby’s head. Does this mean that I HAVE dropped?

I'm 37 weeks today and at my 36 week appt he felt her head and I was 2cm. But I currently have her feet in my ribs and I can't breathe because of how high she is. But I also feel her head press on my cervix, so maybe she's just long and with my shorter abdomen it just hurts everywhere😂

Same boat here! 38 in a half weeks and I’m still sitting so high, everyone tells me that. But my last 3 check ups dr has felt the baby’s head when he checked my cervix. 💕

At my 36 week appointment they checked my cervix and it was very soft but still closed and she said she felt baby’s head and it was super low. I don’t feel like I’ve dropped either
