We have a baby

On Sunday April 7th, I was 36 weeks and 4 days. I was getting ready for bed and I noticed I was bleeding so I jumped in the shower and then called my ob this was at 11:00 PM. So we headed out to the hospital only 20 minute drive. They asked a bunch of question then gave me an exam at this point they told me I was 5.5 cm dilated and was in labor, at this point I have only been feeling what I thought was BH cause they we're not painful nor consistent but off and on for the past few days. So they checked me again and I was at a 7 around 4 am. Checked again at 6am and still a 7, checked at at 8 still a 7 and again at 10 still a 7 so they said if nothing changed by noon they would start pitocin so we started at the lowest dose and by 2 I was almost at a 9. My water still has not broke so they called the doctor and by this time I have only been feeling contraction for the last hour just breathing through them no pain meds. The doctor was down the hall and my water broke has I was crowning 2 pushes later she was here delivered by the hospital midwife and nurses at 3:46pm April 8th weighting at 6 pounds 10 oz.
