What does being on an edible for the first time feel like?

So I smoke from a dab pen on the regular and have smoked marijuana many times, but never tried an edible. People say it really trips them out, but what do you guys think? Lmk really want to try it out for my birthday! 🤪

It doesn’t “trip” you out, weed isn’t going to “trip” you out, it’s exactly like smoking weed just cleaner. It’s a clean high, you can function and go on with your day without feeling stuck. Unless you eat too much, you’ll just go to sleep

I loveeeee edibles. I think they have to have a high dosage (100+ mg) to get me high since I have a high tolerance now, but totally worth it. My first edible, I had a horrible first trip and I was so gone. I kept saying things and then asking my SO if I said something because I was straight trippin. It was so bad my SO had to put me to bed 😂😭 And I especially love edibles because the high kinda sneaks up on you. It’s not an instant high like you get from smoking, you have to wait for your body to digest it.

The experience varies greatly from person to person. I think edibles are awesome, but I'm fortunate enough to have a low tolerance so that they always take effect. Regardless of how much you smoke on the reg, edibles can still hit you very hard. Take it low and slow with the dosing and have a great time :) also, make sure you have some food in your system so the thc absorbs better. It will not activate if your stomach is empty

edibles never did shit for me except make some food taste like weed. like these rice krispies someone made one time that were “fire, so good, so potent” just made me sick. disgusting. if you’re smoking a pen/dabs/wax daily i would probably recommend against edibles unless you’re that girl on youtube who just eats everything and get super baked and does her makeup, it’s really funny, watch some lol. you’d either need more edibles or a higher potency within the one edible if that makes sense. before pregnancy i was a daily weed smoker/wax occasionally and edibles were always a waste of money

Honestly I hate edibles they hit me like a freight train and make me feel like I'm going to be sick. The first time I had been drinking and my friend misunderstood the dose so I got hella crossfaded and laying down only made it worse.
