Transvaginal ultrasound?!?!?!

I’m going on for a transvaginal ultrasound today at 6 weeks and 1 day! Can you tell me what should I expect? Will it hurt? 🥴 I’m new to all of this!

UGH! I hate that! THAT'S NOT WHAT YOU SEE IN THE MOVIES! I was SHOCKED when my tech told me that. WTF? You want to put that WHERE? I was so pissed and so not prepared for that.

It didn’t hurt but it was uncomfortable. I went at 5 weeks and only saw empty sacs(thought I was 8 weeks). 2 weeks later I saw the fetal pole and hb

It didn’t hurt me at all. The only time I actually felt it in there is when she was going to the sides looking at my ovaries. But no pain at all. I’ve felt more at a Pap smear than this. No need to worry at all. Once you see your baby on the screen nothing else matters anyways. Congratulations! 💕

This was mine last Friday. No heart beat yet. I went for a private scan. They referred me to the early pregnant care unit at the hospital for a re scan. I really hope they hear a heart beat on the next visit as it really has scared me. Roughly 6 weeks they think.

It won't hurt. They just put a probe in there.  You will probably see a yolk sac and possibly a fetal pole. Might or might not see a heartbeat yet, so don't freak out if you don't. 😊

Will not hurt at all. It’s a thin stick & they put lube on it before inserting. You’ll be fine.
