It can be.  I burst a vessel in my stomach.  I had to go to the doctor to get medication to help it heal though.

I'm 8 weeks 6 days and have saw a little blood when vomiting. Midwife said it was throat and gum irritation (throat and guns bleeding due to vomiting) but it's better to go and get it checked out! Better to be safe than sorry
