When to wash baby clothes

When are you washing baby’s clothes? Are you washing your hospital bag clothes for baby sooner so you can pack them? 
I am impatiently waiting and running out of things I can do 😅😂

I guess I'm the outlier here because I never wash baby clothes first. I don't wash my clothes before I wear them and I never did with my son either

Around 32-34 weeks , I wash them and pack my hospital bag

I wash them when I have enough to wash or when I get them and my daughters clothes need to be washed.

New clothes from stores I’d wash towards the end of my pregnancy, no point of doing it too early as the scent will go away and it can also get dusty if you have them just hung and unused. Can I just add all the baby clothes in one load? How do you moms usually wash baby clothes? Do I have to wash swaddles and sheets separate? FTM here! 😩😩

With my second one I have been washing things as I get them so I have less to worry about as the due date gets closer!!!

I wash all my secondhand items immediately. But new stuff I wait until I have enough for a decent load.
