Is this safe for a newborn to sleep in ?

We got a pack and play at our baby shower and one of the attachments is a little napper. Is that safe to have my newborn sleep in ? It has mesh netting around it and the bottom is a soft material.

No. Baby can’t sleep in the napper unsupervised. So for naps in the day it’s fine. But when you go to sleep at night, no. Only the actual pack n play part.

is it like a higher drop in part to the pack n play?? the newborn part? my pack n play has the newborn part that sits higher then removes for when baby is bigger.
