Do not recommend the depo shot

Ladies, if you're looking for birth control, I advise against the depo shot. I got my first injction August 11th. I told my gyno that I'm doing this to stop my period and she told me it would. Well August 30th comes around and I start my period and I'm just now getting off. 18 days of pure hell of a heavy period. I'm so mad. Im not going back for my next injection. I so advise against it!
