Threatened MC

Last night I went to the Er after experiencing some brown spotting for three days that led into bright red bleeding. The did bloodwork and an ultrasound.

The doctor told me that my HCG looked okay and there was a heartbeat of around 140. The nurse afterwards comes in the with a care sheet for “Threatened Miscarriage” and told me that I will experience A LOT of blood she even sent me home with some bed pads.

I have been experience some clotting today followed with painful period like cramps.

Has anyone had this happen? Did everything turn out okay? I was supposed to be around 9 weeks today but they said baby is measuring around 7 1/2-8 weeks.
