Is my pregnancy normal?
Hi ladies-(this is long)
So, I’m very worried, this is my first pregnancy, my period was due on the 18th, but I had light spotting and cramping last Sunday-Tuesday. It went away. I went to the walk in clinic on Friday, and they confirmed I was pregnant, but she wanted me to go to the ER to make sure it was not a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. I had a vaginal ultrasound and a quantitative blood test. With the ultrasound, they didn’t see a sac(which is normal being so early the tech said) which I would be about 4 wks 5 days. But my HCG was at 106 which can be normal but needs to double in two days. So today I had to have it tested again and I seen my OBGYN. My number only went to 262 ☹️ so my doctor told me when she was first pregnant her test were all negative and the doctor did a blood test and her HCG was only at 14 and her doctor told her she would miscarry and she now has a 20year old son. So she told me that does not necessarily mean that I will miscarry or that this is an ectopic pregnancy. But she wanted me to beware if I start bleeding or have heavy cramping, she also gave me info to read about pregnancy loss... I’m getting another blood test done on Thursday. She said she believes I’m earlier than 4 weeks pregnant. & when I look back I think I got pregnant April 3rd, which would only put me at 2 wks 6 days pregnant. I’m just so scared, had this ever happened to anyone else? Can this be normal?
I’m not cramping or spotting anymore.
