So I had a laparoscopic gallbladder removal surgery on April 18. I was told I can’t lift anything over 10lbs for 2 weeks. Obviously doing everything I can to follow this rule and luckily I have help. Except for this Saturday, the 27th. 9 days after surgery. Hubby has to work and my parents are out of town in the afternoon and evening. So I’ll be alone from 3pm until hubby is home at 8pm. My question is, has any other mama had this surgery with a baby? And if so, how soon did you start holding, lifting and picking up your baby? Is 9 days too soon? She’s between 15-16 pounds I’m assuming. She weighed 14lbs 8oz at her 4 month app 3 weeks ago.
