Clomid?

Question

Did any of you ladies take clomid? Did it work on the first cycle? Also did you conceive twins or singleton?? My first round of clomid is coming us but my doctor want to do clomid and

at the same time

I did clomid 50mg cd 3-7 and then ovidrel trigger shot cd11, IUI cd13, worked first try. I ovulate on my own anyway but had a low egg count.

I took Clomid. 50 mg for first cycle which didn’t work. Upped to 100 mg, had a chemical pregnancy in the second round. On the third round of Clomid 100mg, I conceived. We didn’t do IUI. Doctor did pelvic ultrasounds to check ovulation and them we timed our intercourse from there. I’m currently 12 weeks pregnant. 
When I started (after TTC for four years), I was really hopeful that first round would be successful. But remember all Clomid does is give you the same change of pregnancy as people with normal cycles. My advice is to not get to caught up in having it work first round.
