So I’m a junior in high school and I have a crush on this guy who’s really cute and funny and the perfect size for me and there’s something that just attracts me to him but the only problem is that he’s a sophomore and my friends don’t approve because he is a sophomore, what should I do? I need help

Edit: He is also my friends little brother but she doesn’t know I like him.
