Me an my ex had always said I love you because we were best friends before, so one day he was like "I really love you" and I just said "I love you too" and he stopped me (we were walking around his old neighborhood) and had me face him and he said "No, I mean I'm really in love with you" and then he kissed me :) it was really cute

We had been talking for a couple weeks. Finally after he asked me to be his girlfriend for the third time, I said yes. A day or two later is when he told me he loved me. It was the sweetest moment ever. Sitting on some rocks under the stars at a lake. 🧡 Now here we are, 8 and a half years later and I never thought I could love someone so much.

I told him I loved him after like two months...he deployed..and when he got back it took him another like 5/6 months before he could say it..it took a lot of patience haha
