Mommy's with long hair?

I love my hair, it isn't long because I had it trimmed up a couple months back because I found out I was pregnant and have been.. stressing? Over it lol. My question is how do you guys take care of your hair AND a baby? I hate having short hair but I've been thinking about trimming it waaay down.

Mine is down to my butt. I wash it every 4-5 days and it doesn’t get greasy until the 5th day. I put oil in it and then I braid it back just to keep it out of my face. My daughter likes to grab my hair with her little monkey toes😂.

It’s really not that hard at least for me my hair is naturally straight and I have never dyed it I just wash and go but that’s what I’ve always done even before having kids they do sleep for 2,3 hours at a time thats more than enough to shower and wash your hair

I am about to cut my hair off because it’s just too time consuming since having my second child. I don’t even heat style my hair, just the washing, brushing and braiding it takes up so much time. I am also tired of my son pulling it and spitting up on it. I love long hair and plan to grow it back out soon, but with postpartum hair loss it’s not as full and I don’t want super drastic layers from regrowth. I am gonna cut off 8 - 10 inches and get a long bob for summer. I just want it long enough to still pull it up. I can’t wear my hair up too long now since it’s too heavy and I end up getting a headache, so I am looking forward to some cute mom buns.

I’m probably the only one here but I wash my hair everyday! Recently I’ve been wearing it wavy and diffusing it but for most of my life I’ve just left it to air dry and then if I go out I fix it. Braiding is really useful too. I don’t know how long your hair is but I’ve found that keeping my hair in between my back is the easiest length for me. If it’s too short it’s a lot more work. Also it all really depends on your hair type...some are just easier to work with then others. Cutting it all off might help you🤷🏻‍♀️

I had no issue taking care of my long hair (down to the small of my back)   box worst case scenario you can bun it or hit a pony tail in a bind.  But while I have a lot of hair it's quite fine and postpartum hair loss ruined my hair.  It looked so thin and stringy at the bottom I had to cut it. So I whacked it off up to my shoulders and will grow it back out.   I'm due with my second in November and I'll prob have to cut it again.  But idk how short I'll go back

I have hair to my butt it wasn’t hard to handle at all I washed it every couple of days I have curly wavy hair naturally. I pull it up into a high pony tail then wrap it up into a bun it keeps off my face and my son couldn’t play with it. Plus when I had him it was summer so it was off my neck. I’ll do the same thing with this baby I’m having another summer baby so I’ll be rocking buns for a while.

I wash my hair once or twice a week, dry shampoo in between. I really only curl it on the weekends and then I’ll retouch that curl through the week if I want to wear it down. Most days I throw it in a bun or put a hat on. I’ve been thinking of cutting it shorter since my baby has started grabbing but I love being able to throw it in a big messy bun.
