Positive line taking a few minutes to appear

I just have a quick question for you ladies. I have taken a few tests in the past 24 hours and a positive line definitely appears within a couple of minutes but when I have been pregnant in the past the positive line always popped up before the control line was even reached by the urine. Should I be concerned about this? My due date for my period is in 2-3 days
