While I do use this chart, many people misread it. For instance if you are 36 weeks you are not 9 months pregnant; you are in the beginning of  your ninth month of pregnancy. You are not fully 9 months pregnant until you are 40 weeks pregnant. Similarly you are not 6 months pregnant if you’re 23 weeks pregnant; you’re near the beginning of your 6th month of pregnancy; you will be fully 6 months pregnant when you are in that 26th week.

Even though I know the mathematical and correct month to week calculations, I love to pretend in my head that I'm the month I'm in rather than the months I've completed lol. Just to feel that much closer to the end and getting my baby in my arms. So I just tell people a flat out lie to make myself happy in that weird way. Lol.
