What did you do while sitting around the hospital??!

I’m getting induced Thursday and cervidil tomorrow night.. I go in at 5pm - what did you ladies do to keep busy!! They said I’ll be on the monitor l, so what are you supposed to do for hours!? I’m so antsy and being trapped in bed doesn’t sound fun lol

Movies and audio books are great. If you're into it, app/books of puzzles like Sudoku or plague Inc, small crafts like crochet or needle point

I worked on sub plans and my graduate thesis and watched HGTV. So so much HGTV!

Watch something, read a book maybe? Get some sleep? I so wish I had gotten more sleep before having to give birth 😂

They gave me a sleeping pill so I slept through the first six hours of it.  Then I had so many people in and out of my room that there wasn’t much downtime.  When it got rough, I kicked everyone out so I could use the tub.  I didn’t have any pain meds though and refused constant monitoring.

I’m being induced Thursday too. I should be going in at midnight.. so will be leaving my house tomorrow night. Looks like I’ll be stuck on my phone or watching tv. Until everything starts to kick in. I honestly hate being stuck in a room 😩
