Hospital bag ??

I’m only 34+1 with my first but I just have a feeling i’ll be delivering in the next few weeks.. I also have ‘polyhydramnios’ (High amniotic fluid) and my doctor says usually they deliver at 39 weeks but i’ve heard of others sometimes delivering even earlier due to there being too much fluid... Anyways I just wanted to know what are some necessities to have in mom dad and baby’s hospital bag ?? I just wanna have everything ready

I had the same condition with my first. At 39 weeks I was induced. Starting at 36 weeks I was dilating and each week the doctor thought I wouldn’t make it to my next appointment but my daughter was snuggled in. When they broke my water it was crazy how much came out so he prepared for that. I concur with snacks and we brought cards as a distraction for early labor.

I had my hospital bag ready at 28 weeks I have my first born at 34w5d 
For me and my fiancé we had clothes, toiletries, chargers, Gatorade, jolly ranchers for me and lunchables for him. We also brought our own pillows and blankets to have a piece of home with us. I’m glad we packed extra as my son had to be transferred to a nicu for 2 weeks and we stayed with him the whole time.

Honestly not a lot. The hospital will pretty much have everything besides clothes.

Pack 2-3 pairs of nice comfy pajamas you’ll want for after baby has arrived to wear for your stay(but you aren’t worried about getting bloodied), toiletries for showering/ self care, nursing bra if you plan on nursing, makeup if you feel like it, a comfortable but nice outfit to go home in since there will be pictures, snacks (I can’t stress this one enough), one or two sleeper onesies for baby, pacifiers (they will have everything else for the baby so don’t bring much for them).

Chapstick phone charger nursing supplies (bras, leak pads and nipple cream) slippers and a blanket toiletries cuz the hospitals suck and definitely snacks. Just had my baby a month ago!!
