Alright ladies... I’m in need of some advice. I love my boyfriend to death but he’s a bit of a fixer upper of you know what I mean.

He asked me to watch his dog for him while he left town for a day for a business trip. He’s done it for me before so of course I said yes, plus he said he’d take me out to an expensive dinner anywhere I want if I did.

Well the problem I have is that when he got back from his trip he said he didn’t realize how low his funds are and he can no longer take me out to dinner tonight but instead we will go next week when he gets paid next Friday. Honestly I’m pissed because when a man says something he needs to follow through to show me he loves me. We have been together for 6 years and this is the first time he has done something like this but why make a promise if you can’t deliver. I feel used and I feel like it’s a red flag.

Should I break up?
