Does birth control expire?

I bought one pack if birth control online because the first one you got is $5 but the rest would be like $60. I didn’t just want to take that pack for a month and wait a long time to get another. I wanted to have that pack and save money for future ones so i can take the birth control consistently. I don’t have insurance because my mother recently took me off hers so don’t call me stupid for not having it.
