Did you calculate your own due date based on ovulation instead of last missed period? If so, how accurate was it?

My periods are super irregular. I got pregnant using OPKs back in August. According to my date of ovulation, my due date should be 4/28 (this Sunday).

At my 8-week appointment, my doctor used ultrasound measurements to give me a due date of 4/30. Pretty close! But then at my 12-week appointment, she changed it to 4/24. She said it was closer to my LMP due date anyway and baby was measuring slightly ahead for the original due date.

Now, 4/24 has come and gone and I’m not surprised, since I’m pretty sure my REAL due date is 4/28 anyway. What’s annoying is I may be pushed to get an induction early next week because the doctor thinks I’m more overdue than I am 😑

Anyone else use OPK data to get a different due date than your doctor? Which was more accurate??
