I just had my first visit with my obgyn and she didn’t really ask me many questions. She didn’t ask about family history with genetic disorders or birth abnormalities. I was so overwhelmed with my first appointment jitters I forgot to mention any of it, which I have since written down so I remember next time.

I had a paragard IUD removed and conceived two days later, so I’m very worried about that. It’s also worth mentioning I have HG and have been in and out of the hospital for fluids about every week, I’ve lost 15 pounds. Is it normal to not have questions asked? My next appointment isn’t for another month and they’ll only do ultra sounds 2 more times. Is that normal? I’m only 11 weeks.
