First date night...what to do about pumping?

Daddy and I are going out for the first time since the birth of our daughter. She is a month old, and we will be going to a movie. The theater is 30 mins away, and we are getting dinner before. We will be gone about 5 hours. My daughter usually eats every 1.5-2 hours. I don’t want my breasts to get engorged and I don’t want to mess with my supply. Should I try to pump at some point? Maybe between dinner and the movie? What would you do? 😬

It's one night so it won't affect your supply. I'd embrace the big boobies for a few hours, wear a sexy shirt ;) Lol that's just me though!

If it were me I would absolutely pump in between the dinner and movie if you can. If I go more than 4 hours my boobs become massive and painful, so I would express for my own comfort.
Do you have a manual pump you can slip in your hand bag? Ten mins each boob should do the trick I'd have thought.
If you don't get uncomfortable leaving it that long it's highly unlikely to affect your supply if you skip just one feed

If it were me, I'd just make sure I fed/ pump right before I go and then right after getting back. My little one sleeps for a 5-6 hour stretch at night and I don't get up to pump during that time so I wouldn't feel the need to stress myself out trying to pump while out on a date night.

I wouldn't go that long without pumping. Your supply doesn't regulate until between 6 and 12 weeks. One time probably won't permanently wreck it but better safe than sorry. I'd also get too uncomfortable and wouldn't want to be leaking all over the place. Of course this is coming from someone who pumps every 3 hours religiously, even during the night.

I just don't pump and will express a bit to relieve my boobs. I'm not worried about supply for the occasional night out. However, I have a manual pump that I can use in the car if we are driving long distances or will be out more than 6 hours. I'd recommend this if you are worried about being uncomfortable.

Personally I would pump on the way there if you didnt feed right before, for sure between dinner and movie and on the way home. 
Grab lunch bag and s few ice packs and kept in it there till you get home.

Pump before you go. Grab a small cooler/or those ventilated bags, with some ice. Pump or manually express between dinner & the movie. Even though it won’t mess with your supply you never wanna miss those ounces lol.
