How does sneakpeek actually work?

Thinking of ordering it 🤔 but wondering how accurate it is?

I’d recommend going on to sneak peek’s website and seeing if they have a clinic nearby where you live that will preform the test for you. It’s called sneak peek clinical and that’s what I did. I knew I wouldn’t trust the results if I did it myself. Did it at 9w2d, got boy result and it’s been confirmed by ultrasound multiple times, including at my anatomy scan! (I’m 22 weeks now)

Answer

There’s free fetal cell dna floating around in your blood. The test detects the xx or xy chromosomes. If the test detects only xx (female) in your blood then you’re having a girl. If the test detects xx (you) and xy (male) then you’re having a boy. The important part of the test is to make sure you do not contaminate it. Make sure you follow the directions completely!

Answer

It’s accurate if you follow the instructions and do it correctly.  Inaccurate if you do it too early or contaminate it.
