When did everyone start NST?

When did everyone start having to have NST. 
I know every doctor is different but trying to get a general idea of when they may start so I can think if my hubs will be able to attend or not.

My twins are di/di with no complications so far and mine started weekly at 32w with with my MFM office.

I started at 32 weeks with di/di boys. After my first two appointments my husband stopped coming because baby A would always pass whatever they were testing that day within the general 30-45 minute guidelines but baby B ALWAYS had to start over and needed more time and my “should be 1 hour tops” appointments wound up being closer to 2.5 hours every time.

Di/di, and my OB is starting them next week at 32 weeks. He's going straight to twice weekly just because that's his preference I guess. But he said he would coordinate with whatever the MFM said at my appointment later next week too, so we'll see what I actually end up having to do. I haven't had any issues so far though.

I had them starting 26 weeks twice a week plus an MFM appointment every week. I had an irritable uterus and baby A had iugr so that may have been a factor. We had three older kids so my husband did not attend as he was watching our other kiddos. Plus they’re pretty dang boring. Good luck mama hope your hubby can make it to go with you.

I have not had one yet and I’m almost 36 weeks. I’ll have my first one next week at 36 + 4. My Ob have treated my didi twin pregnancy almost like a regular pregnancy because it’s gone so well and I’ve had no complications aside from one high blood pressure reading.

If you're planning a c-section, do they still do NST's?

Mine started at 31+3. They initially told me that the appointment would take 20 minutes but so far only one baby likes to cooperate when both monitors are hooked up. So far each time I’ve gone, it’s been at least an hour because they have to do a separate reading for baby B.
