My MIL keeps complaining to me that her daughter only lets them see the kids when it is convenient for her. To me this is just ridiculous of course she is going to ask that you come over when it’s convenient. She has three kids, one on the way and homeschools plus has animals and livestock. The reason this frustrates me is because she thinks she is entitled to see her grandkids whenever she wants to and not when it is convenient for the mother. My husband and I are having our first in a weekish and I am terrified that she is going to try to take over and judge anything I do as a mother. Do you think it’s okay for a grandparent to dictate when and where they see their grandkids or should it be based on the parents schedule?
