You have multiple LH surges throughout your cycle. The first one is ovulation, that’s why they say stop testing after that, it will just confuse you and you’ll waste tests. I typically get a suuuuuper blazing positive a week before my period is due if I keep testing.

I picked up pregnancy with LH testing. I had implantation bleeding that I mistook for a short period and then spent almost the next month confused about my lh levels. But I had an ectopic so the hormones kept varying and it wasn't a gradual increase. I did a little bit of research and if you are pregnant the lh tests can pick it up and itll be a gradual increase with your hcg. Or of course you could just take a pregnancy test lol
