Is it a bad idea to wait?

I just found out I was pregnant about a week ago. So I’m about 4/5 weeks. When I call to schedule my first ultrasound I want to wait tell I’m at least around 9/10 weeks so the baby is bigger. Would this be a bad idea?

Most Drs offices won't schedule until at least 8 weeks anyways. Up to 12 weeks is typical for a first apt

i went ahead and called when i found out and took multiple tests. if you want one as soon as possible i would go ahead and call cause you could call at 8-10 weeks but they could not have anything available till a week/weeks after that

Nah you're fine. I couldn't get in with this baby until 10 weeks. We are both fine and going strong at 28 weeks now. Good luck hun! ❤️
