I’m kind of over the working mom vs sahm argument. Both have their challenges and neither is better than the other. 
I saw a meme the other day about sahms thanking their husbands for working so hard so the can stay at home and working moms were commenting about being offended by it. Then I saw a meme telling working moms they’re doing a great job and to be proud of themselves and of course sahms were offended by that. 
Just worry about being a mother to your child. Why does it matter if you work or stay home 🤷‍♀️

I’m a stay at home mom and it is so different than working and I personally feel like while staying home is exhausting because I never get a break and am always needed, it still is easier than working at a job. I can at least lay down and be in the comfort of my own home with my baby boy rather than sitting at a desk having no freedom at a job. 😭😭

It’s different “work”. As a mom of 2 and who’s been a SAHM for over 7 years, it’s definitely a lot of work. Sometimes I think it’d be easier to go to work than to deal with my kid(s)! Lol I am very lucky to be able to stay home though. Moms shouldn’t compare themselves. Every mom is hard working whether they stay home or have a job/career.

Now let’s all appreciate those who work at daycare centers and preschools, school systems not only caring for their own children at home at the end of the day but also everyone else’s children as well !!

Its work of course but maybe not having to wake up 9-5 job work it’s different for everyone i could use a couple days of work i miss it and the quietness that came with it lol but i also love getting worn out by an over dramatic toddler who bullies me for cheetos and yoohoos wouldn’t change it for the world

I think SAHMs work waaaay harder than I do. I have a desk job and interact with adults all day and get a lunch break and can go to the bathroom alone and wear clean clothes. I love my daughter so much but I've never been so exhausted as I was at home with her on maternity leave, OR on weekends at home with her as a toddler. Being at home with a kid is all-consuming and you don't get to "go home and unwind" at the end of the day. I absolutely defy anyone who says that SAHMs don't work or don't work as hard. I couldn't do it.

I’d say it definitely depends on your job. I used to work at yankee candle and spent my time ringing up a few people every hour and sticking good smelling candles. Being a SAHM is s thousand times more difficult and demanding. 
Maybe if you are s high powered executive or run a daycare that’s different.

I don’t think stay at home moms get a break until their kids are in school.  
It isn’t so much that WOH moms work harder or SAH work harder, but that the constraints are different.  I WOH and I struggle mightily with keeping up with laundry...I was on top of it on maternity leave...now not so much.  Time is a huge constraint.  SAH moms might be much better at keeping up with laundry...but they often don’t get the adult interaction WOH moms get - which can be tough.  You can only talk with your three year old about booger’s, farts and Peppa Pig so much before you feel like your brain will explode.

I work 24 hours a day as a stay at home mom which is way more than I worked at my 40 hours a week job,
