Are these inserts safe?

Does anyone know if these inserts are safe for stabilizing the baby's head? It doesn't interfere with the straps or anything...

You aren't supposed to put anything in the car seat that didn't come with it. It's not crash tested with the car seat

Anything aftermarket (meaning it did not originally come with the carseat and was separately purchased) is not safe. Please, please, please research carseat safety. It's highly important. These items have not been crash tested and probably does not have flame retardants. And because they did not come with the carseat, they absolutely can and most likely will interfere with the straps, even if you don't think so. The carseat for the littles on fb is an excellent group to join also as they have plenty of certified techs whom you can ask any questions.

They are not safe and they do interfere with the straps. If it didn't come with the seat in the box, it shouldn't be used. You should check out the car seat lady or car seats for the littles for safe alternatives.

Yes. They're fine. I used rolled up burp clothes with my son, that worked too. I plan on doing the same with this girl plus it's easy to change and replace if she spits up on them and I don't have two inserts.

I bought the jj cole headrest and jj cole bundle me and will have them in my car seat. I just don't get why a little head support would make a car seat any less safe. Plus everyone I ever knew had them and I actually was in a car accident with my mom and baby sister she had the head support in the car seat and it worked properly! I don't get why people say that but wtvr do what you think is safe. Good luck

Some hospitals won't let you leave with those things in the seat. That to me means it's a big no.

I agree with Nicole, everything I have ever read had said never add anything to your car seat. I wouldn't chance it.
