Not sure if this is Braxton-Hicks or something different?
I’ll be 34 weeks tomorrow and for about a week I’ve been having random aches that resemble mild period cramps. They come and go all day and night, and adding to the pressure in my pelvis, I’ve been pretty uncomfortable. For about two hours now, I’ve been having stronger aches. I haven’t been timing them (I didn’t think I should), but it feels like they never really go away. I can reposition and they’ll ease up, but as soon as I’m still they come back full force. I’ve had stomach pain as well, like feeling nauseated. Also, I’ve had some watery discharge, but I’m almost certain it’s not my water breaking. My low back is achey as well. I’ve moved around and changed positions, and I’ve been drinking a lot of fluid (I read that helps stop Braxton Hicks). I’ve taken some Tylenol too. Nothing seems to help.
I’ve been under a huge amount of stress in the past 2 weeks and my OB drew blood this past Tuesday because my BP was high again. Test results are normal. I hate bothering the doctors on call because I don’t want them to think I’m completely clueless (plus I’m a FTM so I’ve called a few times).
Should I call the on call OB and let them know, or just suck it up and power through? Not super concerned, just in a bit of pain.
