So I have been married for 3 years (together for 4). I had my first outbreak on my cheek 2 years ago. Dr's prescribed Valtrex first (thinking it was shingles). It didn't work. Then we tried a staph medication which worked quickly. We assumed it was staph. I've had several other outbreaks in the 2 years since both on my cheek and on my butt cheek. Last week the dr swabbed it and it came back as HSV. I've had unprotected sex with exactly 3 people. I married 2 of them and 1 of them was against my will. I'm pretty sure my husband doesn't have it. I didn't get my first outbreak until 2 years into our relationship. How do I tell him now?!
